Hybrid persimmon sources

I was curious what nursery people are using to buy their hybrid persimmon varieties. It seems lots of places carry Rosseyanka and Nikita’s gift, but having problems finding other hybrid varieties.

Thanks @Barkslip have you grown many of these or tried them to suggest a couple of the different hybrids?

I’ve never eaten a hybrid. A fella not on our group has a lot of persimmons (in Kentucky) and his favorite is Kasandra among hybrids or non-hybrids.

There are hybrids for all tastes now. Just search a little.

I think it’s important for northern growers to get hybrids from a northern grower, like Cliff of England’s Orchard and Nursery. They’re grown on rootstock that has been tested for the cold. Places like Just Fruits & Exotics have a great selection and are a good choice for other growers, but I’ve lost plants from them because their rootstock can’t survive here.
