Is this normal for the first true leaf on a sprout?

This is my third time trying to grow apple trees from seeds (this time I’m far more serious). I germinated seeds from two apples in the fridge and planted them and now I have eight sprouts. One of them is a mutant with three cotyledons. This was of no concern to me, I researched and found the third seed leaf would not harm its growth. However, when it started producing tree leaves, the first one on the stem was not serrated like the rest. It looked like a smaller cotyledon.

Is this anything to worry about, or just further mutation of the plant?
