It lives!

my lutowka rose sour cherry, that the voles ate to the ground over the winter, is sending 2 shoots from below ground from the trunk. it also has sent out 4 more from the roots. then in April when i cut down the gridled tree, i took 20 cuttings from last years growth and stuck them in a 3ft wide circle around the stump. 14 took and are pushing growth. from the supposed death of 1 tree., i got 18 more. :wink: some more to put out at the new orchard.

I had 2 trifoliate orange trees in my front yard that were hit hard by 0F in December. Now I have 3 trees growing from root sprouts. I’ll move one of them later this year.
