July Prince

I’m starting to harvest July Prince peaches and I can fully
understand why it’s in such demand with commercial peach
growers in the South. It’s a heavy cropper of very large peaches,
even with little thinning. The fruit colors up nicely, hangs on the tree
well, is very firm and crunchy. It’s a little more acidic than Winblo,
but is a very good peach. This is a winner.

Yellow? White? Clingstone? Freestone?

Sorry. It’s a yellow fleshed free stone peach. I presumed most
people knew that.

I’m not most people. At least I knew that July Prince is a peach.
