King of pippins at TOA

Can’t tell which version they have. Was thinking of one more tree and figuring where to put it and if this is the on Scott has. Oh Trees of antiquity if there is any question who I was referring to.

Can’t say which it might be. I have one that came from Cummings years ago.
It’s one of my favorites.
Dull skin, but would not call it russeted. Yellow tawny base color when ripe, orange and red blush.
Fantastic complex flavor. High acid high sugar. Never gets scab. Does reasonable well against PC
Does not hold well, even in cold stargaze starts to get rubbery with in 4-6 weeks. At that point Dries beautifully, and is great grated into baked goods
Tends to overset and is prone to smaller fruit.

I have seen two versions of this apple , both from the same farm. One was a red and looked like someone poured milk over it. The second one was an more of an orange hue to it. They ripened at different times as well. When does your KOP ripen?

The milky one sounds like Hubbardston Nonesuch; there is no milky color in KoP/RdR.
