I’m trying to find Last Chance Peach, released in 1987 for the high desert of So. California. It ripens September-October.

I grew out seedling of a Farmer’s Market LC peach and found it to be excellent, even here where the summers are short on heat. Last Feb. at our local scion exchange there was a huge bag of LC scion wood. I have no idea where it came from but it was good to see this peach in circulation again.

Just picked from a home orchard. They look great Pilgrim peaches or Last Chance according to grower’s grandson.
I will be contacting the grower for scionwood. She’s 85 and selling out this winter. Apple Valley, high desert.
