Last Chance Peach

I’m trying to find Last Chance Peach, released in 1987 for the high desert of So. California. It ripens September-October.

Kevin, here is a link from a grower in CA:

The Arboreum Co. also has it:

I grew out seedling of a Farmer’s Market LC peach and found it to be excellent, even here where the summers are short on heat. Last Feb. at our local scion exchange there was a huge bag of LC scion wood. I have no idea where it came from but it was good to see this peach in circulation again.

Last Chance peach from Green Tree Nursery in La Grange, on unknown rootstock. Won in a raffle.

Just picked from a home orchard. They look great Pilgrim peaches or Last Chance according to grower’s grandson.

I will be contacting the grower for scionwood. She’s 85 and selling out this winter. Apple Valley, high desert.
