Anyone know where one can get local persimmons in the NC triangle area? I’m getting jealous seeing some of my neighbors trees start to ripen up lol
Have you checked the Farmer’s Markets? We sold at the Carrboro market for a good while which had a huge assortment from local growers so I bet a grower there would have persimmons.
The market in Durham is good too with no resellers, just local farmers.
I found the state market overwhelming. Should only be produce grown in NC in the farmer’s sheds but I’m not 100% sure.
Quick Google search turned up 30 markets in the Traingle area.
Let me know if you find some! I’m not very close, but I’d make the drive if I could net a good handful of persimmons (cultivated ones, I can get wild easy enough).
