I noticed there was a cultivar with my name and I got to thinking maybe there is one with my wifes name. It would be fun to grow and cross breed. Sadly I can not find any named Jan, , Jannet , Janis, January, Jerry or even Ian. I would even be happy with an apple developed by someone named Jan. Any ideas?

It is the wrong gender (I suspect) but, ‘Jan Steen’ is a Cox cross from the Netherlands that is available via GRIN.
