Does anybody know where I can get a vine or cutting?
These apparently grow large without gibberellic acid and don’t have seed vestiges so they are good for making large raisins. I assume that also means they are sweet and bland.
Doesn’t matter. My wife likes the raisins, she has little interest in growing fruit, but asked about them. So I’m going to try to get it if I can.
Apparently it was developed in Australia, but looks like it is being grown in California for raisins. Patent should be well expired.
Also called Maroo Black, or maybe Marroo.
