Anyone growing this species in the US? I just read about it on the very interesting website of this Polish nursery:
I’ve never heard of M. bombycis before. Anyone have any thoughts on whether it would be worth growing in z7 NC?

anyone else salivating over the Intergeneric Hybrids section?
They are all available here in the US as Ivan’s Belle, Ivan’s Beauty and Shipova. I believe raintree and/or One Green World have them. Burnt Ridge has at least 2 of them as well.
If I had room I would have planted one of Ivan’s crosses by now. I’ve already killed a Shipove.
