Two questions about MycoApply, the mycorrhizal inoculant.
-
What is your experience with it and do you recommend it?
-
What’s its shelf life?
My wife bought some a while ago. I’m not sure how many years ago but at least two. It got lost in a back room, and I just uncovered the package.

I use it and based on my observations from vegetable seedlings I have noticed good root system development and combined with my nutrition support I get good harvest. Its probably towards the end of its shelf life, you can try using it some in a vegetable bed and see if it works (you should see strong roots, high vigor, small mushrooms popping up if mulched with straw etc.)
I have also used a single species like Rhizophagus intraradices and got similar results in veggies. But I guess a mix product such as myco apply would be better for fruit trees.

Thanks. I’m currently constructing a raised bed, and we can try it there.
