Neem Meal for Blueberries?

Does anyone here know whether neem meal/cake makes a good fertilizer for blueberries? According to wikipedia (no citation), “[n]eem seed cake also reduce [sic] alkalinity in soil, as it produces organic acids on decomposition.” And this paper refers to “the rhizosphere acidifying nature of neem cake.”

I normally use either a cottonseed meal-based fertilizer or Holly-Tone—but I just happen to have quite a bit of neem on hand, and thought it might do for a mid-season feeding. Anyway, I have had good luck using it on other plants that do better with an acidic pH—including potatoes and rhubarb.
