I have had first year fruit not taste very good, but this is new for me. Four peach trees fruited for the first time this year and all have small fruit ripening much later than they should. Trees are 2-3 years old taller than me. Out of twenty peach trees that is the first time that has happened.
One I know is not what it was supposed to be. Just hoping all are not mislabeled.
I am not sure if it is because they are newer trees or another issue. I have four peach trees and they have fruited for a few years now. My peaches have tasted great in the past few years and also have been very large in size. This year the peaches are very small and not very tasty. Not bad tasting just not very peach tasting. Not sure why this has happened this year.
