I got a new pipe fence on two sides of my yard. I don’t know if I have the patience or discipline but a pear espilar crossed my mind.

Its too late for you already for two reasons . You do realize that 1) Once you verbalize the question, your subconscious has already made the decision 
and 2) you are already half way there as you already have the support structure…
