Something strange happens here, something I can believe happens: A small grafted persimmon tree surviving a Polar Vortex, while a much older tree croaked, here are the sample.

This one, a Pulu, way much older, now recuperating from heavy damaged.
Is that little one a RB that you intended to keep small? Amazing how it survived -7 with practically no damage!
