Notice a chat function

I just noticed the chat function on the top.
How does it work?

Also, the pull down function at category does not work.
This is what my screen looked like on my cellphone

I got it on the pull down category. It’s looked like threads, not just the tiles.

I clicked on the Chat symbol. Here is what Scott says about it.

“The new forum update includes a chat feature. It is similar to Slack, WhatsApp, etc. You can both DM individuals just like the current DM system (which is still there unchanged BTW) and you can also partake in chat groups. This is a general chat for general fruit topics. It is not clear if it will be useful or not but feel free to give it a test spin! Fruit topics only here please.”
