I was wondering how nurseries and breeders deal with cracking pits/nuts/seeds with the least damage.
I’m talking about seeds of olives/cherry/jujube/macadamia…
My success rate has been so low, is there a machine made for this task?

For small quantities I use a vice. Slowly tighten until the seed crach cracks.

That’s an excellent suggestion, I’ve always thought of it but I didn’t know the name of the tool
