Peach tree grafting similar to apple grafting?

Hello ya’ll. I want to graft an O’Henry peach tree and I am wondering if the same grafting methods for apple trees would work for peach trees

I, and others on the forum I believe, have had greater success with peaches grafting once the temperature reaches at least the 70s. As a practical matter, in many climates that means grafting later in the year. The common graft types, e.g. cleft, should work. Some prefer bud grafting during the summer.

Thanks for the tip Vohd. I will try this out. Do you think plum rootstock will work ok?

Ideally, you could check with someone with experience growing peaches in your area for rootstock recommendations.
