Pears tree question

I have a question about my pear tree. I have buds forming not flowers so far, if the flowers form does that mean i will get pears this year? The tree is about 2-3 years old about 8feet tall. It also has another tree for pollination

Quite possibly, assuming that the flowers get pollinated, meaning if they bloom but it’s cool the insects might not be active enough to do the job; trees can drop fruit if bugs get in the young fruit, and even because of a bad cold snap after pollination. I would guess that in zone 7 you’ll probably be OK in that regard, but this year anything could happen!

This chart might help:

As always, the devils in the details …

Good luck, and welcome to the group.
