Took a walk through my main persimmon section today, probably be picking a significant number tomorrow, a few early ones done or pretty much so, but I am getting into prime season here, I been at this place 4 years I think, and some put in each year. Yesterday I picked some from my older plantings at cabin.
the Matsumoto Wase Fuyu are ready and plentiful from my older cabin plantings

Creek pic is a mix of astringent some not ripe but I picked a few as not sure when will make it back. A few Tamopan, Great Wall, Saijo, and a Giombo

And walk this morning at my residence

Phil,
Wow! Your Kakis are loaded every year. Congrats. I hope you will freeze and dry some for future usage.

I have already dried a lot, and will much more. I don’t have any froze present, I can’t get any freezer space from my wife I have 2 fridge/freezers and a chest freezer and their full of frozen Goats milk. She won’t let me have any more of the pasture for trees either. I tried wire circles around a few trees in the pasture, but something or somebody pushes them in so the goats can reach them and I am not sure it’s the goats. I am getting bullied on my own place…

They look wonderful. I only have one single IKKJ this year and I plant it in a pot to survive the cold winter.
