Early Crawford peach blossom
Tomcot Apricot
@mrsg47,
I like this topic a lot. Just came back from a week trip to Canada. As soon as we pulled in the driveway, I was greeted with a pretty sight of many trees in bloom. Got off the car, I walked straight to those trees. Hubby had to unload all luggages by himself
Granted, most trees have fruit buds that sustained some damage by the extreme cold in early March. Only apricots, Tomcot and Orangered, that were totally wiped out.
I was thinking about posting pics of each fruit variety. Then I abandoned the idea quickly after looking at my three Euro plums. There all look the same to me. These are the flowers of Parfume de September.
These are Autumn Star peach. Several showy peach flowers look the same to me. I have Ernie’s Chioce flowers that are showy but definitely pale pink.
Pictures taken while a hint of snow was in the air. In order, St. Edmund’s, Northfield Beauty, Adirondack apricot, Kidd’s Orange Red.
Love to see when those buds are open.
