My polar berry blackberry arrived healthy today? Do any of you have one? I’m new to growing blackberries thankfully I’m in the PNW where they grow insanely well so I doubt I’ll have trouble. I read they’re really sweet and actually white, is this tru?
Also, what cool/unusual colored fruits do you have? I have pineberries and pink lemonade blueberries as well
Mine hasn’t produced fruit yet. however, they do send runners underground and will get invasive if planted in the ground.
I remember many days trying to tear out an overgrown wild blackberry patch in our back yard when I lived in WA.
Haha, yeah. Mine are potted for now, and eventually going into raised beds in arkansas
I think it takes a decade to clear Himalayan blackberry from WA soil.
