So, I planted this tree 2 Springs ago and the fruit was great last year.
I’ve had multiple Pear trees for about 20 years but right now only have this one. I’ve never seen this problem before. All the leaves on the entire tree curled in on themselves. It was 33 last night, and I’m not sure if cold can cause this.
My trees do that when I have aphids
I have seen that before with aphids. These buds just opened and I sprayed a dormant oil this winter, so I hope it’s not that
Could be a midge or aphids.
I uncurled some leaves and don’t see any insects
It’s true it was a dry Winter & Spring here. I watered it this morning…fingers crossed
Mine do that when they see me coming with my ‘clipper collection’. LOL
I feel like an idiot not thinking about watering it.
