Predators of peach seed?

I’ve have a few of my peach seed stored in situ eaten by some little grub or nematode over winter. Nothing catastrophic, but somewhat disappointing (40%). They carve the whole seed out inside the pericarp and leave a little skeleton. Can anyone identify them and potential remedies for next winter?

Man there are so many plant eating nematodes, that is too large for a fungus gnat larvae and too small for most beetle larvae.
The answer is you could drench with Beneficial nematodes (HB/SC) which should eat those or you could use BT products (maybe bti/btk/btg) or spinosad as a drench. Probably other chemical products you could use also. The benefit with beneficial nematodes is you should see improvement over time.

This little guy got in my peach sprout by me using Fresh creek water. It was a snail larvae
I just monitored my plant until i got them all out of the pot. I try to not use any chemicals but plenty of natural fighters.
