Pulling down my Champanel grapes. Question on digging up/moving vines

Hey folks! I’m cutting my Champanel down. With the muscadines, I no longer need this variety. Curious if y’all think they could be dug up with a portion of the roots and survive. I’d like to hand them off to a friend if it’s something that would be successful. Plan is for the digging to occur during winter dormancy. They’ve been in ground 4 years or close to it.

I know very little about grapes, but my friend dug up three of his grapes for me this year. He didn’t have a lot of roots with the vines, but they did just fine. Here they are just a few months after transplant.

Champanel roots from cuttings.
Would probably be better than moving a large plant.
