Hopefully I’ve already thanked everyone via a message, but if not I figure a second round of thanks won’t hurt. Wanted to say I can’t get over the generosity of everyone on this site. In fact this year I have more apple and pear scions than I’ll be able to graft…Next year hopefully I’ll be able to pay it forward. These past two seasons I’ve received scions from all over the country, as far west as Cali, up to Montana and Maine and several points in between…The sharing of these scions has enabled me to try varieties here in Florida that I wouldn’t otherwise even consider.
Right now I have successful grafts of roxbury russet and red fuji, as well as harrow delight…There were at least 3 times as many failures, but as my grafting skills have improved, hopefully I’ll see more success next year…Looking forward to seeing how the latest grafts of sweet 16, liberty, pink lady, moonglow, orient and ayers perform down here in the hot humid south…
So once again, thank you… @JesseS, @marknmt, @Levers101, @Lizzy, @Kate, and anyone else I may have overlooked (it wasn’t intentional)…
