Is anyone else surfing the web for rootstocks yet? I am searching for Bud-9 and have found a few sources but am looking for other places. Raintree has been my go-to place but they have gotten way to expensive compared to other places.

Grandpa’s Orchard has Bud 9 (and Bud 10) in stock right now. Northwest Cider Supply also carries Bud 9 but they haven’t got the rootstock in yet. Your might email them and see when it will be available. The prices for Raintree varies depending on the quantity if you buy one it’s $4.50 ea if you buy 5- it’s $3.50 ea. I think you will find the prices are similar for all the retail level vendors and the shipping costs may have more of an impact than the actual rootstock cost.
You might want to call Schlabach’s, they don’t advertise their root stocks, but have many for sale if you call and talk to them. I live close and I’ve bought a variety of root stock from them.

@AndySmith I am leaning that way, just a matter of earlier delivery if possible. Am also looking at many scions that are on his list.
