Saijo Surplus Problem

Bought six different varieties of persimmon trees a few years back. Now they are fruiting and 4 maybe 5 of them are all Saijo’s. Yet another major tag mix up.

The fruit is intended to be sold at market. Do people buy the astringent persimmons or should they be grafted over to non astringent? Non astringent seems more popular.

I would buy Saijo fruit if I could.

There is a woman in Falls Church, VA who sells Saijo from her tree on Facebook every year. I think she charges like $10 for 15 pieces of fruit. I believe she sells them all.

But I’ve only ever seen non-astringents around here at farmers markets and that is only a few times.
