Not bothering with greens, herbs, cucumbers, summer squash, or radishes. I just don’t use enough to justify dedicating any space to them. Downsizing potatoes as well but still putting in one bed. Going to stick to dry beans, corn, tomatoes, sunchokes, peppers, garlic, carrots, beets, and onions in the beds in the back. Winter squash in a big planter out front.
It sounds ridiculous, but I probably need to stop trying blueberries. I just don’t water them enough and I am not realistically going to set up drip tapes for them. They look like crispy little skeletons every summer. I might try one more time in the middle of my strawberry beds, which do get watered. If the don’t make it there, that’s it.
Same problem with kiwi and honey berries.
