Should I wait to plant

I was at a local nursery this week and picked up a Shinko pear and I few other fruit trees. It has been hot here in Virginia and was wondering should I wait and plant the trees in the fall or early winter. Today and the next few days it will cool off to be in the high 70’s. I would like to get these in the ground but I would like to do what is best for the trees. What do you think? Thanks for your help.

You can plant it. Try to keep the potting soil with the roots when removing it from the pot. Water it very well after planting and water it twice a week for a few weeks. If you keep it in the pot you will have to water it even more.
