Signs of Spring in my neck of the woods

Having more sun and my house plants and fig grafts are liking it. Hopefully, I can move them outdoor in a few weeks when the low temps stayed above 4o degrees at night.

You guys still have snow on the ground there or has it finally melted? I’ve seen the news about the flooding on the Missouri River in your area, just devastating.

We had a historic flooding in Nebraska low laying counties near the Missouri River with a total damaged could reach $1 billion or more. Just imagine that 12 to 20 inches of snow plus 4 inches of rain melted the snow within 24 hours of hight temperature in the 50s and wind gust at 45 mph. The ground was frozen and all the water just ran off and flooded towns and broke levees and dams. A real bad situation.

Tony, Those adeniums are beautiful. BTW do oyu lift weights also? Randy/GA

I am in my early fifties and trying to maintain and stay in shape. I used to lift quite a bit but now my body hurts easily so I do more walking on the treadmill and swimming at our local Genesis health club.

Hey Tony, Me too man. Try to run every other day…outdoors on trail, plus lift a weights, pullups, pushups, abs etc. goal is to get at least a half hour of exercise daily. Feel its more important to take care of ourselves as we get older. Keep up the good work Tony! BTW gardening can be good exercise too but I dont count that since its fun!! Spring is coming rather slowly here in Georgia and that if fine with me. Thankful for a few days of no rain. RAndy/GA

I was in Papillion over the weekend. We were high and dry but things were closing in. Flew out Monday evening. It’s just heartbreaking to see the pictures.
