on business and I may (MAY) have some time off this evening or tomorrow morning. I’m staying by the airport and don’t have a car.

Anyplace in the area you might recommend (market, farmstand, etc.) to try finding some heirloom apples and other stuff I haven’t yet tasted?

If you head down south on SE 82nd Ave, there is Fubon Market (Asian), further down is Good Neighbor Grocery (Russian), further south just off 82nd is Portland Fruit & Produce (discount produce). Most farmer’s markets are done and the apple tasting events were last month. Any New Season’s Market might have one or two odd apples.
