For those of you that grow jujubes your aware how rewarding they are to grow. They are very difficult to find frequently. Getting good rootstock is the most important thing. I do use the sour jujubes from the rootstocks. These are very large fruit but do not have the sweet taste like honey har and others do. Long term i may graft some of these over to Li , honey jar, black sea, lang and other cold hardy types. For now i’m saving seed to develop the ultimate cold hard rootstocks for my area. I’m enjoying some tea as well from these very large fruited rootstocks. Many of you know sour jujube are used for rootstocks already. Many of our new members do not realize there are two types of jujubes a sweet and a sour type.
