Anyone tried something like this? I’ve been getting regular visits from civets and tanuki who destroyed much fruit last year. Fencing can be hit and miss. I’ve seen small rollout plastic belts for cats, got me thinking of a larger version. Even plywood strips with crown staples driven through or something.

I have seen clips where people used them to protect cabin doors and windows from bears. I am not sure what exactly you have in mind , trying to imagine how I would set something like that up
You probably would just have to try and see. They don’t work for many cats even though they are designed for cats.
Carpet tack strips a possibility, if sold in your area.
