Kinda early for the buds to be swelling up in my zone 4b but, it’s going to happen no matter what I do.

Same here Keith. I was dormant spraying today and noted the buds on some trees are ready to pop! Too darned early for us.

It’s definitely a concern because of the heavy frosts we can get this time of the year, like I was saying that there isn’t much of anything we can do but hope for the best in our coming weather.
Same here…I can’t believe how swollen the apple buds are this season at this point.

It’s without a doubt the earliest bud break I’ve seen in the last 7 leafs of my home learning trees. Hope that our weather doesn’t turn around like it should be this time of year.
