St. Julien Where to find

Hey guys! Looking to add a block of Apricots and rather like my trees I put on St. Julien A years ago when Raintree still offered it. Does anyone out there know of a source?

You could check with Bob Purvis. He mentioned he was getting a few in and he might be able to up his order.

As I recall I bought from burnt ridge (small)
But I don’t see them this year.

It looks like this place has them

But I don’t know anything about them.
Looks like a tough to find commodity.

It appears they can be bought individually at maple valley orchards. It would be pricey for high quantities.

Interesting that they are seedlings. I thought all plum rootstocks would be colonial.

If you were ok with Myro or myro 29c
CopenHaven farms still had 500 1/4 inch and thousands smaller. I have apricots doing well on that rootstock.

Thanks Jolene, thats very generous of you! We have weird soil here in Phoenix. Very heavy and sodic (salty). Not alot of roots like it, myro doesnt.

You didn’t mention quantity. I was guessing you’d want 25 to 50?

Yeah like 25. I see now that one green world in Oregon has St Julien. Ive ordered from them before, just need to see when they can ship. Only issue with ordering from the PNW is that they often ship too late for us.
