I have a credit with Starks that expires soon. I see they have a grafted Northern English walnut that is supposed to be hardy to -32 degrees. Have any of you ever tried it and also experienced at least -30 degrees? It sells for $40, so not cheap. I ordered some seedling English walnuts from a different nursery last spring. They were crummy sticks with barely any root, and I am surprised they even made it through the winter. Hard to say if anything will ever come of them. Space is not an issue. We are at the far edge of zone 4, nearly in zone 3.
