Strawberry for dfw area

Hi Folks!
Suggestions on varieties of strawberries that do well in our area? It’s a shady area. Spreading is fine. Flavor is more important to me than size. Growing in regular yard area with mulch.

There is a (now defunct) blog called DFW Fruit Grower, and the blogger recommended Eversweet, Ogallala, and Seascape as doing particularly well in the heat.

Thank you! It was good to read her review of strawberries. I think we have everbearing, which doesn’t seem to perform well in the heat. All plant descriptions need to have a little asterisk for the south! ** Will not perform the same in the heat! :slight_smile:
