Once again thank you to the people who gave me the spray programs that have helped me grow apples! Anyone who has space issues try tall spindle growing, it works. I got a little over 200 apples off of two tall spindle trees. Thanks for the recommending Suncrisp an excellent apple. I have it on G41 rootstock and the growth is great. Sweet Sixteen another apple talked about here and which I got my first apples from. Definitely sweet and more complex than HoneyCrisp which to me is just sweet. So thanks for all of your help it’s been a great year for apples!

I only got six apples this year from my third year SweetSixteen, but they are great. I’m not a big just sweet Apple kind of a guy. This one has other things going on in it. I wish I could describe the flavor. I’m going to save one to see if the licorice flavor comes out in storage.

can we see some pictures of your spindly trees?? curious to see what they look like.
Not the best lighting right now with a Tropical storm coming thright now and I didn’t do a perfect job compared to professionals, but it works for me.

Had two sweet Sixteen left on tree and just picked one. Definite cherry flavor in the back of my mouth. I’ll leave the other one on another week for taste test.
