I know lots of people need storage to dry herbs, peppers , store grain etc. I know just what they need and only $100. Remember it’s very hot in Kansas and that job is no fun. I would take a trailer and an impact set and 4 batteries with me. It’s worth it you guys! I’m not sure I have it in me to do it to be honest with you. It’s my busy time of the year. It is also the time I dont really have the time to show anyone anything.

Wow! Don’t know about wheat seed. But food grade wheat berries cost about $40 for #50 at the Amish store…about 2.5 hours away. you got some great deals there.

Wish I had kept mine. I gave away over a hundred of them. I thought I was done planning my orchard and didn’t need them anymore. I had to buy them all back and much more. Same with welded wire fencing and trunk protectors. Wasted tons of $$. you are never done with an orchard.

I passed on the grain bin for now. We are not up for the job. I can hire people to do things, but they always need me there. I wind up in many cases doing twice as much work myself. I appreciate people and all they do, though i go back to what I always say. You must be willing to do it yourself. I hire people for things like fencing that are pretty straightforward, and the plan is laid out.
If you can find a problem solver you can train them to do most anything, but a lot of people who are looking for work around here have been rejected repeatedly. There is a huge construction boom in the NYC region that seems like it will never quit (it will) and any kind of reasonably competent physical worker tends to get snatched up by contractors who keep them busy so they don’t lose them. In the burbs, unskilled outdoor labor goes for between 200 and 250 a day plus lunch. English optional.

Problem solvers are very hard to find, and when you get one, they don’t work cheap or very long. They solve the problem of not having their own business quickly. They are the best people to have working for you. Many people are looking for work and I have no real need to hire anyone right now unless they are self employed.
