That’s a nice setup! Do you run your espalier rows north and south or east and west? How much space is between each row? I recently ordered some Colette pear trees. How do you like them?
I lost mine again this year. The blooms get hit with fire blight and the fruits drop or I have to prune them off. I’ll have to try a more stringent spray routine and see how I make out.
Colette pear is very good . 2018 was the first year it fruited so I can’t make comment about long the term but it is having an auspicious start.
My rows are running North/South.
