Mirai corn, very tender. My kids like to pick it and eat it raw.
Wow impressive! I don’t have that much room! I like growing all plants! So I cram them in where I can.
Yes we got lucky when we bought this property. My veg garden was mostly an oak forest which took me three winters to clear to our property line with ax and shovel. If I started today I would be using chainsaws and a stump grinder!
Today I’m putting my fig trees in the garage, also my cacti are coming in the house. I have blueberries in raised beds and in pots. The pots will be put in the garage soon. They can take the freezing weather, just not my zone, so i left them in containers, and will supply protection from the extreme cold. The raised beds plants are very hardy, All Northern Highbush. Always something to do in the garden. I planted about 20 currant cuttings yesterday. I have some pruning to do on currants established, and will plant more currants from the cuttings. I also need to remove some blackberry floricanes.
