Just picked these figs this morning and they will be today’s lunch.
At 11:00 is BT, 5:00 is Dalmatie, while the rest are Red Lebanese
This is tonight’s Supper. It’s my sacrificial melon of the season and
is a Gold Strike. As soon as I put the knife in it, it split perfectly from end to end. It could have stayed on the vine a few days longer, but is still delicious. For those of you who have not tried GS, it’s just as good as OG, and sometimes can be even better.
I’m going to have to keep the light on in the bath room tonight.
