Topping tomatoes?

Hello everyone,

I know that you can top a pepper plant early on and essentially force it to grow into a bush form but can you do the same for tomatoes? Im growing indoor hydroponic indeterminates and my grow space only has a limited height. Will topping the tomatoes decrease potential fruit output?

If you pinch the top off it will cause it to branch out and become more bushy. Ensure you have plenty of other branches.
