Tree collards

I live in northwest Florida and have lurchased cutting for tree collards. My studies indicate that the climate here, Zone 8b, is good for growing. My question is, how much sunlight is too much? I have an area that has full sun all day. Wondering if the afternoon sun might be too much? All advice is greatly appreciated.

Not sure about tree collards specifically, but I have regular collards in 8+ hours of sun. As long as they are hydrated they do fine. When they start to dry out, their leaves start to hang downwards. 100+ weather last year killed mine, but they handle 90s in full sun ok.

I have tree collards, they grow very lanky for me, they get full ish sun. 6-8 hours? But a very hot spot along my driveway. I’ve yet to eat them as I also got cuttings to root but they have been growing about 2 years with some dieback in the winter. Maybe I’ll get good growth this year.
