This tree grows rapidly and has copious amounts of pods after raining carpets of muddy yellow pollen. The leaves remind me of acacia, but this tree has no thorns.
I’m suspecting that it’s some kind of thornless honey locust, but the leaves do not seem to match images that I find. Any ideas?

The double compound leaves match appearance but it doesn’t have mimosa’s flowers though.
It turned out to be an, Acacia decurrens (aka Green Wattle).
