Muddy, IL, Mamuang, and all,. We arrived yesterday to this 5 stars all inclusive resort. Very pretty here and all you eat and drink at the eight restaurants. We will wander off the resort today to see if I can find some good tropical fruits. More photos coming.

We were surrounded by water; yet, didn’t go to the beach once on our trip. But we don’t live in Omaha, and can spend a day at an ocean beach anytime.

OH TONY! You may have seen my raves in the past. I’ve been to countless destinations in the Caribbean and Mexico and you are right in my very favorite place of all. It is heaven on earth! And Grand Velas is seriously one of the nicest places in the entire Mayan Riviera. I know its tempting to never leave the grounds, but take time to check out Playa Del Carmen and even consider a trip to some of the Mayan Ruins and Pyramids and Xcaret. But you can’t go wrong whatever you do…you are in the greatest place on earth IMHO!!! ENJOY!

This is the best customer service of all the 5 Stars Resort that I have been through. They open the door for you every where you go. Pull out your chairs and fold up the cloth napkin every time you walk away to get foods. Btw, I got a guess came out of the tropical forest to visit Us. I gave him 2 bananas.
