Last year i received a few scions of several different varieties of Pluots and i only had one root stock left (i’'m using Myrabolan 29C that shows good compatibility with pluots and adapts well to my difficult growing conditions).
Without being able to get more Myrabolan root stock (it’s unavailable in my country), i decided to combine grafting and air layering at the same time.
I ended up with 3 individual multi varieties trees from that single root stock plant. Here’s the video of the process i used and the end result, just in case someone finds it useful.
