Hello, I am new to the group. I am searching for information regarding a tree in our yard. Just bought the house and not sure what fruit this tree will produce. Pics are included if anyone has an idea I am greatly appreciative of any and all help.

Looks like euro plum, but you should see some fruit there this time of year unless you got hit by late frosts

I’m in virginia and we never saw a late frost, it was slightly colder than normal a bit longer this year but my crab apples strated to bloom. This has yet to produce anything. Thought it might be a granny apple but not sure

Could you please take pictures of the base of the tree. Just wonder if it’s a named variety or a rootstock taking over.

I meant a wider angle so people can see your tree at the point where the trunk meets the ground. Take a few close up and not close up pic. The tree looks half-dead, unfortunately.

Just a side note, we discovered this morning that landscape photos are being rotated on some phones that have the location tags turned off in photos. So if by chance you are wondering why your images are rotating its becuase you have location data turned off.
EDIT: I was wrong. Its the opposite. Portrait photos are getting rotated to landscape. GPS settings appear to have no effect. So for now this seems to be a bug.
