2 Red-eyed Bull potato seedlings, the first to be uppoted. They had really long what I could only describe as aerial roots growing. So I buried those as well. Some of my other seedlings have them as well. Never seen them on a solanum before, but potatoes are weird for a reason.
Started a seed tray, 4 cells each of 4 types. Twanoh y Azul, Ayock, Looking Lumpy and Red-Eyed Bull. Going to start some more tonight along with some oca I think.

I need to get started on some! I donât remember if I bought oca seed, but I have tubers in a big tub that have overwintered outside the past three years!

Canât believe I forgot to take a picture but I got a delivery before work yesterday of some fun stuff. Ulluco, Chilean Red Mashua, and assorted mashua. (As well a some Andean crop seeds) I put them in big pots right away, so I might scoop 'em out to record color. (Or perhaps leave it to surprise for fun!)

My oca from seed seem to be a less heat tolerant than from tubers. Or they were just in a sprinkler dead spot. They are still alive, but the heat stress is definitely showing. From what I understand, since it was short days, they were pontentially forming tiny tubers as well, instead of focusing on green growth. As the days get longer, hopefully they start pushing more green growth.
I left 3 pots of my potato seedlings in the sun away from the water. So they got torched. The ones that I didnât are still pushing along. Not sure what I should feed them with, something weak like fish emulsion or my much stronger liquid veg fertilizer (like a 18-21-21 or something like that). They are at that familiar stage tomatoes and peppers get to where they stay the same height for what feels like forever.
